No unlockables?
So it seems like all the unlockables are already unlocked from the start, i'm kind of dissapointed in that, I quite like having to earn the outfits and other bonus unlockables instead of being handed them for free.

Did mastiff make any comments about this or did they accidently overlook something, cause looking at the achievement icons it seems like they shouldn't be unlocked from the start at all, and only optained after getting the corresponding achievement

Maybe they've accidentally released the debug version they were testing or something with everything unlocked.
Because yeah, everything should certainly not be unlocked right off the bat.

Meh, I don't really care myself. I like being able to choose my outfits right at start. Especially so since I completely finished the PSP version.

I guess some people prefer that yes, but for completionists like myself I prefer having to unlock everything.

On a sidenote, if you play on a harder difficulty do you unlock everything from the previous difficulty aswell or do you have to play each difficulty seperately to unlock everything/get all the achievements?

No you're supposed to beat the game on every single difficulty. BTW don't use the swimsuit, it's OP as hell and the best costume of the game. You're just gonna power-creep everything with it if you play in lower difficulties with it.

Yeah... It should be same as PSP. Each difficulties have their own set of unlockables. Not that it matters now if everything is unlocked right at start. I don't know if it's normal but I understand why there are questions going on about it.

Anyone knows if the old PC version (the actual original game since the PSP was a remake of it) had everything unlocked right at start or is it a mess up from the actual developpers?

Can someone take a screen cap of this? I'm only seeing a cookie in my inventory from the start.

Mess up I can confirm.

Yes, you start with a cookie but check your wardrobe. Say hello to full set of clothes. There is also the fact that before you even start the game, you can see every difficulties unlocked.

this is somewhat annoying. part of me is glad to have happy mode unlocked from the start, but it means i don't have to unlock any of the costumes myself, which is part of the fun.

It seems like the GOG version doesn't have this issue, so I hope that Mastiff will fix issue with the steam version in the upcoming days.

Yeah, again, I figure its the testing version for steam achievements and stuff. When you save the game there is a star next to it, which I am pretty sure indicats its a ng+ save.

I'm pretty sure she's only supposed to be there ng+

and then theres the costumes...

KingJak Mar 30, 2015 @ 1:56pm
when i changed costume i think i triggered a "quest" that can't be done in the early part of the game, which is to find cylinder and confront him after he peep'd
saw a couple of walktroughs and there was many things mismatching
like the impossibility to give the boom box and the pot plant to the monsters

Edit: with an early save game i could give the boom box
so i warn you, do not change outfit early in the game or save before trying to do so

Well, crap... I guess I will put the game on hold until it is fixed.
Mad Futurist Mar 30, 2015 @ 2:32pm
The costumes are pretty game-breaking..
On the good side, I can finally play as Popon. Aside from being cute, she was rather unusable in the original version on higher difficulties since she can't use any costumes
Zeether Mar 30, 2015 @ 3:02pm
I noticed this too. I'd love to unlock them myself since it would be a nice challenge...the swimsuit is pretty OP.

Except I think a few aren't unlocked? The kimono and princess dress aren't there.
