Game script differences in Happy Mode?
This Gurumin wiki's main page [gurumin.fandom.com] mentions something about an altered game script in Happy Mode only available in the Japanese version, and this really old guide [gamefaqs.gamespot.com] from the original PC release mentions "Hyperbolic having different things to say (most notable are the different themed menus for headwear trading)". Anyone has more details on those differences? At least the cool music in Disk's shop was kept in.

Also the item names and I'm guessing location names are randomly changed. All this is randomly changed every time you reload the game. In addition because the cutscenes are also affected the voices are removed.

It seems in our version the only change is the shop music is using the vocal version.

To be honest random gibberish would be perfectly fine even in English, it's not like we need to read much on the 4th playthrough? lol

That really sucks, I'd love to play that mode.

After some digging, it seems like Pleasure/Happy Mode loads the dialogue from 3ddata/test.dat and replaces the words. I'm not sure what the criteria is, but it seems to be for words in a similar group. The list is entirely in Japanese, so it wouldn't work properly anyway (and the Steam file is also much shorter than the PSP/original PC release).
