PC vs. 3DS

I know I definitely want this game, but I can't decide whether to get it on Steam or on the 3DS eShop. I have SteamWorld Dig 1 and 2 on my 3DS, and loved them both, and it was nice being able to play them on the go. Does anyone know whether there are any significant differences between the versions, or are they largely similar? If they're pretty similar, I'd probably get it on my 3DS, because I don't have nearly as many great games for it as I do already on Steam. But if the 3DS version is decidedly sub-par, I'll get it on Steam.

With the PC version, you are able to use the cursor to play, which is a nice change from using a controller. But the 3DS version is great and works fantastically, it was the game's launch platform after all. Other than condensing the UI onto one screen on the Steam version and the aforementioned mouse controls, the two versions are very similar.

I'm gonna get it for my N3DS then. Besides these points, I get to play it in 3D

Huh, forgot about this post until someone bumped it. Update: I got it on 3DS and am almost done with it. It's been fantastic all throughout.
