"Backup failed... Save size is within limits."

Since almost a month now, everytime I go to save, I get the message "Backup failed. Please trry again later. Savesize is within limits." What do I do?

I have tried:

• Refreshing login
  
• Using a VPN
  
• Deleting most of my saved and created levels and songs.
  
• Verified file integrity and restarted.

and many combinations of the above, but nothing seems to work. Please help me if you guys know the solution. Thanks in advance.

Just keep pressing the save button for a few minutes straight.

If it STILL doesn't work, wait a half-hour or so and then resume saving over and over.

Yes, keep pressing save until the game saves. For me I had to press it about 6 times until it did the long animation and finally saved. (Like this so it gets marked as the answer)

The luck of your account being able to save is entirely dependent on A. Your Wi-Fi's bandwith. And B. Geometry Dash Server Traffic. If your Wi-Fi is slow as a snail even after restarting, then your internet by default will take too long and time out the connection. If there is too much traffic, it takes a long time for the servers to process all the hundreds of thousands of requests every minute. The latter reason is why Spamming Save usually works. The more server requests you make, the higher chance one of them will actually make it to the destination in time. Again though, saving your game on slow Wi-Fi and/or on a particularly busy day is always a gamble and there's no guarantee you'll be dealt the winning hand.

same. i have alot of levels created / saved (locally) and dont want any of them deleted

upload the levels you want to keep, then delete the ones youve uploaded and dont need, and then go in yo saved and remove all of them using the X at the bottom right

Make sure your internet is good.
Maybe also wait for another time of day.
