cant open gd

ive been trying to open gd and i cant i tried through desktop, steam and even through files ive restarted windows and it still isnt working

probably your save file is corrupt
you need to erase your save file then log on your account and load your data.
if you dont have an account, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

okay i had the same problem also and doing this fixed it, you want to hit your windows button on your pc and search %appdata% once you do that it should open some files. you'll then want to click up at the top where it says AppData and it should show a file that says "local" you'll want to click that then scroll to geometry dash and click on it. once you're on geometry dash's files scroll down or it could be at the top for you im not sure, but look for a file named "CCGameManager.dat" and delete it. once you've done that you should be able to launch the game again. here is a full video link if you need it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVO7fZc_BRY&ab_channel=Evilseph83

I did reinstall the game, But I have an account and all. Saved. Is the data still gone? And what other options do I have to get GD working again or do i just have to wait until, Rob on his end fixes it? Because, Its not on my end.
