Custom songs and NONGS are saving incorrectly.

This has happened before, but this time its not fixing itself. Basically, all of my custom songs are making me re-download them, even though they are already downloaded in my caches folder (i'm on mac). Every guide says to turn on no song limit or change custom songs location but it doesn't work. I think the problem is that GD just decided to use another folder for saved songs entirely one day and I cant find where. Ive tried downloading more songs, tampering with existing files, and tried tons of articles, but I don't think anyone is having my issue. What can I do to fix this? Ive already verified the integrity of the files and such, but my songs are gone. Please help.

In short, I don't know where the songs are saving to, but its NOT the caches folder, and its not resources.

Delete the custom songs from your files and re-download them again (I'm on windows but, i'm pretty sure it works for mac as well). If you re-download and didn't work then, I'm sorry man.

The problem with that is, the game isn't even using my default songs folder, and it even moved some of my old songs to the unknown location, so I cant remove them or change them until i find out where they're stored.

for me the songs are in C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\GeometryDash (im also on windows)

it might be different if you have the ingame setting to use an alternate folder for custom songs
