Hi.
I apologise for not answer for too long. I hope to try and help out more.
This is a problems thead.

Here is a crash guide from Outpact. Read before posting.

Attention to all users who crash: Crash Test Guide!
Okay, majority of people here randomly and have unexplained CRASHES. While I, Outpact, haven't experienced a crash ever in gameplay, I'll try my best to give you a Guideline to see whatever works.

Pre Checklist: How is it crashing?
Before you start, please first try to open the game, what does it do? Does it crash? How? Theres various of ways the game can crash, Do you crash once your in the game; loading screen or it doesent open at all but it shows your playing it? After that, proceed to Checklist 1.

Checklist 1: Are you in minimum specifications?
One thing is that you might of done a slight common mistake. Please ensure before buying the game, check if you have the minimum requirements to run the game.
FOR WINDOWS
OS: Windows XP
Processor: 2.0+ GHz
Memory: 512 MB RAM
Graphics: OpenGL 2.0 support
Hard Drive: 100 MB available space
FOR MAC OS X
OS: Mac OS X 10.7
Processor: 2.0+ GHz
Memory: 512 MB RAM
Graphics: OpenGL 2.0 support
Hard Drive: 100 MB available space
If you are above the minimum specifications, be aware you need at least x2+ the minimum specifications incase anything goes wrong. Otherwise, your free to go to the next Checklist

Checklist 2: Is your drivers/graphic cards up to date?
Are your Drivers or Graphics Card good and up to date? Do you have enough space? Check all of your drivers if they are updated, if their outdated, that might be the reason why. Now don't ask me where you can update your drivers, figure it out, google it or something. If your Drivers are up to date and you still can't play the game, proceed to Checklist 3

Checklist 3: Common solutions
Now, if everything (Checklist 1 & 2) are set and good, but you STILL can't run the game, best to try these in order.
Step 1: Re-Install Geometry Dash
Step 2: Re-Install Steam
Step 3: Contact RobTop
Step 4: If RobTop is inactive on support emails, best to find a solution yourself.

I hope this helps anyone who bought the game and it doesent work for them.

I have Mac 10.7.5 and I bought Geometry Dash on steam and I've also put the launch in windowed mode but it still doesn't work. I have been trying to play this game on steam. Please any help out there?

I need help the game still is minimizing I did everything to try to fix this problem I reinstalled it multiple times I backed up the games files and my computer has the requirements to play it but it still dosen't work

Hey, I just installed the new OS on my Mac. Geometry Dash crashes whenever I open it. I have tried deleting the local content and re-installing the game, and I have also verified the game cache.

Try deleting the entire folder. I think the newest OS isnt fully compatible? I'm a windows user :P

I've tried updating my Mac, still doesn't work. Deleted it and reinstalled it but it's the same problem every time : "Geometry Dash has quit unexpectedly. PLEASE HELP.

Okay so 2 days ago i could play Geometry Dash with not an issue, and now when i start the game it pauses my current updates for a couple of seconds and then continues them. i.e the game does not start. other games on the other hand do work. I updated to Win10 about 2-3 weeks ago. it ran fine after and has done up till now. steam recently has had an update could this be the problem? but i am able to play other games through steam just fine.

Windows10 (was 8.1)
CPU: AMD a10 5745M- 2.1 Ghz
RAM: 8GB
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 8670M Dual Graphics
AMD Radeon HD 8610G + HD 8670M Avalable storage: ~500 GB/1TB

You should be able to copy that level. Try copying it and editing there.

You should be able to copy that level. Try copying it and editing there.

I can create a copy but I still have this problem (shuts down "geometry dash")

I tried to edit the level of the normal version of my level and a copy of that level
