Windows 8.1 ASUS i5 Intel
- Can you tell me what graphics card you have?
- Do you get any error messages or does it just not show anything?
- Have you tried restarting the computer? (Not sure if you meant you restarted Steam only)
- In the Geometry Dash Steam folder there is a folder called "CommonRedist", try installing/repairing the files in there.
- Try launching the game in windowed mode. Open Steam and go to your game library, right click on Geometry Dash and select properties. Click on "set launch options" and write windowed.
Let me know how it goes and sorry for the inconvenience!
I'm having the same problem.
- I have a GeForce GTS 450
- I do not get any error messages, it simply does not show or load anything.
- I have tried restarting my computer, still nothing.
- I have gone through all those folders and repaired the files
- I have tried launching in windowed mode and it did the exact same thing as before, not even a flash of a window opening, just nothing.
i start the game and its showed 3 second for me and my friends after
Online ...
But the game dont start :(
Help pls
Go to Local Disk/Program Files (86x)/Steam/steam apps/common/Geometry Dash/_CommonRedist/vcredist
Then click on 2010 and click on vcredist x64 and 86 and do install/repair
Then do the same for 2013.
This should fix it
Didn't work. Looked like it installed extra stuff that wasn't there but still won't launch. I tried everything: repairing all four files, uninstalling and reinstalling all four files, then repairing all four files again, still nothing.
