No music in levels with custom songs!

In levels with original music all seems to be ok, but in other levels...

Does the download fail or do the songs just not play? Could be a problem with where the custom songs are saved. I will have to take a look at it

I have this problem too. I can download the songs but they don't play. Even from the song list in the options they don't play.

Strange. Can you check to see if the songs are saving correctly? The songs should be saving "C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\GeometryDash".

Does the game save/loading work? (level progress, user name, stats etc)

Save/load works perfectly, managed to move my progress to Steam. The songs are saved to that location but they still don't play.

Not sure what would cause the songs to not play (since the save files are working and located in the same directory). A few users are having this problem and I will try to have a fix out as soon as I can. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Maybe you forgot to download the custom song.

There was a fix for this implemented in the latest patch. Go to the options and toggle on "change custom songs location"

I'm having this issue still after the 1.9 update! It seems that the custom song files arre corrupted or something like that because when I try to play the files(when not in-game) the MP3 files seem to be corrupted. No media/music player can play them.

Ok I have a little different problem, on the android version. I know it's steam here, but it seems it is the only place where you answer (I emailed the support 1 month ago, still no answer). For me, the game seems to not respect the start offset of the custom songs defined by the creator of the level. It is always equal to 0. Have you got an idea of what's happening? Thank you in advance.

I'm having the corrupted problem also, so i tried downloading the audio file from newgrounds.com. I renamed the file to the ID number of the audio (as I saw the other songs were named their ID number) and the song played fine in game. Maybe there is a problem downloading the file?

Yeah, I have tried also to download the music that way from NG and it works perfectly but still it annoys the *** out of me. >.< RobTroll needs to fix this bullpoop.
