Geometry Dash Audio Bug (FIXED)

So I get on Geometry Dash and there is no sound. There is no official music, no custom music, even no title music. (Also, I'd like to point out that I simply went on Geometry Dash one day and it simply didn't work at all) I've tried many things (listed below) all of which have failed. My sound settings are all the way up in Geometry Dash. Can someone please help me?

I have:
-tried unplugging and plugging back in my headphones
-reinstalled Geometry Dash
-restarted computer
-Used the Mixer to check Geometry Dash's sound
-Switched headphones to different ones
-Removed headphones entirely

All help is greatly appreciated :D

restart GD worked for me. It was bugged at first for me too.

What do you mean by "restart GD?"

Go to task manager and end GD's task (you may even need to restart the steam client bootstrapper) and just reopen GD

It's getting a little frustrating how there is no sound. I also found that when I go to my saved custom music and try and play it, it doesn't play. Just thought this might help. :)

(UPDATE: I moved all the music to a different location via the settings, and I have to also redownload the songs.)

use a different headset
change the music back to original position (C:/Users/YOURNAME/Appdata/Local/GeometryDash)
sometimes there is 2 GD's in the mixer, look as one is fake.
thats all i know ;_____;

It didn't work D: I'm gonna try everything again and see if it works.

UPDATE: I tried taking out my headphones and using a different audio speaker for GD. It worked! But there's no sound coming out of that. Sound registers in the mixer, but I can't actually hear it. I'm using Realtek HD Audio.

P.S. Robtop, you might want to look into compatibility with Razer devices, because the headset I use, a Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma, worked fine, but one day it screwed up for Geometry Dash only. I still don't know why it's just GD and not other games. Games such as Evolve, Assassin's Creed Unity, and TF2 work fine, so I assume it has to do with Geometry Dash in one way or another. Hopefully you can fix it (or maybe it is a problem with my computer)

I found how to put sound back on go into task manager and thereis this thing called ;windows windows driver foundation and realknet audio graph u ned to end task i hope this helped it started all my sounds i just ended anything to do with audio and my lenovo settings

I have the same headset and it has just started causing issues for me as well.

guys i found a way to fix it first you have to go c:/users/YOURNAME/AppData/roaming/microsoft/windows/start menu/programs/steam and delete the geometry dash file after that go to c:/YOURNAME/AppData/local and delete the geometry dash folder next open steam and right click on geometry dash and delete the game finally install it in ANOTHER disk (:D,:E etc.)

if you have discord it will mute a lot of your other apps, this confused me for like a week but all you have to do is go into your volume mixer, done by right clicking on the volume icon (incase u didnt know :p) and making sure eometry dash is turned up. hope this works dude!! :D

Try to disable all sound effects(Control Panel/Hardware and sound/sound)
