Can't Register Account

I just recently bought the game on my computer as an upgrade from my iPhone, and I decided I wanted to start over and unlock everything again from scratch. I went to go register an account in-game, and I input my username, password, and e-mail, and then it loads for about 5-8 seconds, and then it says "Login Failed". Please help! I would love to have an account set up!

"Log in" failed? I thought you wanted to register one... not to log in. ^^
If you haven't got one account yet, you won't be able to log in...

The error message that I also receive when trying to register an account says "Login failed." Slymario hasn't chosen the wrong option; the game just provides an error message that doesn't suit the context.

Why could something like that fail?
Check these following things:
-Username (won't be the problem, i guess)
-Your password (lenght, safety)
-e-mail (Did you type it wrong? I do that sometimes, too. Try it again, carefully! ^^)
-And, of course, your Internet connection. Maybe the RobTop server were down. Maybe your internet access was down for a short time.

If it won't work after checking all these things...

Well, gee, maybe I would know what was wrong if the stupid error message had any specificity.

Since I have tried multiple times on two separate occasions, it's unlikely to be the server. I have been careful about my email address. I have a unique username that is unlikely to be in use. I have tried both complex and simple passwords. My own internet connection has not been down.

I really don't know what the problem is. Maybe Slymario will have better luck.

I have NOT had better luck, and I actually checked to make sure everything was in line, and it still didn't work. I have no idea why. -_- Hopefully Rob patched it in the 2.0 update. And, as a matter of fact, I am also expeiriencing another problem. Whenever I load the "Featured Levels" page, it sometimes doesn't load, or when it does, it takes like 5 minutes -_-

I sent an email to the developer's support address last week and have heard nothing back.

To the "Featured Levels" problem from Slymario: That's normal. Many people want to play featured levels, for grabbing stars and... RobTob's server aren't that powerful. :o
It takes me often about 3 attempts to look even at the score list!

Ok... i have a problem D: when i make an account on Geometry Dash it says it will send an activation email to the email address. I go to the email it sent it to. And it is not there D: it has been doing that for a month now, and i really want an account. Any solution?

Same problem for me. Tried it 5 times each on separate emails. Not sure of the solution. Emailed them and "resent" the verification. Still did not show up and no reponse.

Omg why has this not been fixed, I got a new laptop and I can't get my GD save files until this dang thing is fixed.... Really? This is just so pitiful.

Edit: I got the email after an hour of waiting... Wow, I'm impatient.
