Question about Icon hack
So recently people have started messaging me on geometry dash about the "unobtainable" spider icon from the Spider Gauntlet that I have. I explained to them that I got it using the "Icon Hack" feature from megahack. imo, I don't think this should be considered cheating since it's purely cosmetic, does NOT affect gameplay, and does NOT give anyone an unfair advantage.

So what do you think? Should this be considered cheating or not?

In general, cheating in this game can be different. The GD wiki divides cheats into "Auxiliary" and "Illegal" ones. Illegal cheats affect the gameplay and give you an advantage over other players. Such cheats are penalized by moderation. Auxiliary cheats simply help the player, but do not introduce imbalance. Icon Hack is a cheat, but it's not illegal, it can be used in the game, and you won't get punished for it.
