Beginning a song at a certain point

I want to make a level which has a song starting a bit later on (since the music's beginning is slightly boring), except i only know how to do it using the start position. The problem about that way is that it makes the level impossible to verify. Could anyone help me please?

Yes, in the level editor, hit the settings, click new in songs, click the gear on the right, and set the offset!
