Q: Does Geometry Dash on Mac require internet connection?

My little brother wants to buy Geometry Dash for his Macbook Air through Steam, and since we don't have a very high amount of data/month, it's not an option if the game is depending on constant internet connection. So, is it possible to play the game even if you open Steam in "offline mode" and don't have access to internet? Of course internet connection will be required for installing updates, but is it required just to play?

Yes, but you won't be able to download maps, you can create them though.
