Geometry Dash not working on Mac

Ever since I installed OS X El Capitan on my Mac, Geometry Dash completley stopped working. Everytime I click play it goes to the "Geometry Dash quit unexpectedly" window and I don't know how to fix it. If anyone knows how to fix it, please tell me and I would really appreciate it. If it can't be fixed, FIX IT RUBRUB

go and reintall java from here

Nothing happens. The GD icon just keeps bouncing.
