GEODE NOT WORKING!!! Says its installed but when I open GD, no Geode buttons or text or anything!!

A while ago, I wanted to install Geode on my Windows 11 PC, so I installed it. It asked me for visual studio to make changes on my device while installing. I said no. I opened GD and It was cool. There were mods and everything. Then later I decided to uninstall for I dunno what reason. Today on the release of 2.206 of GD, I needed it again so I went to the Geode download page and downloaded the EXE again. It asked me for visual studio to make Changes. Obviously no. It finished installing and I opened GD. It was like it didn't even know Geode was installed. No geode buttons at all. So then I thought "maybe It was a mistake to download the latest version. Maybe I need to reinstall it from the Installer I used to download it for the first time.' Nope, still. It said download successful but when I open GD, no Geode!! I tried exiting steam and reopening. Maybe its a 2.206 thing. Is there a way to fix this so I could use Geode mods? Why is there no Geode buttons when I log onto GD even though I installed GD? Do i need to restart my PC?

If you are on gd 2.206 then you need to downgrade your game

I think gd new version blocks geode.

geode doesn't work yet in 2.206, there is an alpha version compatible with 2.206 on their github page, but it is very unstable and has very few mods

just download geode again, the updater/deleter should work (geode isn't updated yet but just saying for when it is)

Having the same problem. Probably need to wait for 2.206 support

So it seems like Geode updated to 2.206 but now I try to install and it says it failed. And I need to download visual c++ The Thing is, I was hoping to do this without installing more software. Is there a way?
