you are only keeping yourself at risk by keeping your operating system on something that does not get ANY security updates, and hasn't for 4 YEARS
or, if you want to keep staying on windows 7, STOP USING THE INTERNET, welcome to LEARNING ANY CYBER SECURITY
if you had megahack v8 installed, it fails to open because, well megahack is trying to load before the game, but the game version is not the version it's built for, so it kinda just: dies
remove the files for megahackv8 and it should work perfectly fine on any supported operating system
Well, we Windows 7 users simply crack windows server 2008 updates, so we can get them monthly until Jan 2026. So yeah we are pretty fine with security for now
yes, you can do that
the answer isn't CAN, it's SHOULD
AND THE ANSWER WITH SHOULD IS NO
"oh i only download from confirmed good sources"
just waiting for when that source gets compromised once / "accidentally" puts malware into an update package that doesn't end up getting detected by your anti-virus
'if i had a nickel for every time a company has added malware to one of their update packages, be it intentional or not, i'd have... (wait how many nickels would he have.. at least 20?) nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird it's happened (X) times'
lets see the times that's hapened recently:
Windows Recall (wait that hasn't fully released ye-)
xz utils (for them linux users)
Sabrent
Github (no, i don't just mean malicious github repos, i mean ACTUAL FILES ON ANY REPO)
