Why the M? GD has been the abbreviations for times long past. GMD is just goofy.

With the spinnoffs, we have:

GDL (Lite)
GDM (Meltdown)
GDW (World)
GDS (Subzero)


GMD is more consistent.

(Before you said I made these up, I've seen GDW used for World multiple times before.)

I always thought it just made them look 'gangster' or smth.
I still don't like it regardless lol
