Geometry dash not opening issue.

Almost a year ago, I was playing geometry dash because I had nothing better to do, But the next time i try and open game, It takes about 10 or so seconds, and I could see that the 'Play' button said 'Stop X' (Which was normal), But then out of the blue, It says 'Play' And the game doesn't open. And if I tried using the game shortcut, My mouse cursor shows its loading, But then the mouse cursor goes back to normal and guess what? It doesn't open.
After a couple weeks I loose entire interest in the game, And It also wouldn't open on my Ipad which is where I started playing it. Yeah, my luck was complete DOODOO. Now sense I have fixed the issue on my Ipad with it not opening, (Which is in this post but not the main part) I have gotten back into geometry dash, I have been doing EVERYTHING and I mean just about EVERY method I could find online, None of which worked. I was wondering if there was anybody who could help me with this issue. READ THIS!!! ->->-> JUST A QUICK SIDE NOTE THAT MAY BE PART OF THE ISSUE, JUST A WHILE BEFORE HAVING THE ISSUE, MY HARD DRIVE DIED AND I HAD TO GET A NEW ONE <-<-<- READ THIS!!!

If there is anyone who could give me some methods of fixing my problem that would be a blessing!!!

I FIXED IT!!! THIS POST IS NOW IRRELAVANT ILL POST ON HOW TO FIX IT SOON, IT 100% WORKS!!

( If anyone was wondering how to fix GD on there iOS device here is how: Navigate to settings then go to the search bar. Then Search for any updates, If you have a new update, Download and install it, Then after that GD should be able to run.)

Try simply going to the properties of the game in steam, and run a file integrity check. If it doesnt work, try restarting the game.

Yea It doesn't work, at this point i think it will never be able to work.
