Right, here are the places:
Game Levels - Local Files/Resources/LevelData.plist
Custom Levels - C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\GeometryDash\CCLocalLevels.dat

I have attempted to tinker with them prior (Look at my screenshot of DeadLocked over Stereo Madness, didn't work ;-;) and it was almost useless. However, heres what I learnt:

-Game levels are sorted in appearance from 1-21, 1 being Stereo Madness and 21 being Fingerdash(bang)

-Custom ones are in an awfully long string when opened with Notepad++.

Have fun.
you have done a great service to your country

Ok so I found out that it is on Mac, it is in /Library/Application Support/GeometryDash/CCLocalLevels.dat

Also to get library, open Finder -> Click "Go" at the top of the screen -> Hold Alt/Option -> Click Library

I think i found what yall searching for:
C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\GeometryDash\CCLocalLevels.dat

the only thing is that its a giant mess but its where levels are stored

Also, you have CCGameManager.dat which contains all your save data

You'll probably have better luck making a new thread about this, too many people busy nitpicking with "necro" instead of actually being useful.

To answer your question: It's a likely yes, you'd just need to copy the level's string into the CCLocalLevels.dat file in order to get the level. Getting the string on the other hand, is likely to be extremely tedious considering the lack of means to locate the one you want specifically.

edited for clarification
