Error playing in fullscreen?

So I recently got a PC and I can launch other games but when I try to launch GD it comes up with an OPENGL error but in Chinese?
I've updated all my drivers and have looked at a GD fix for another opengl error but it didn't work for me.
I launched the game in windowed mode but I couldn't play because it was at 20fps (I got a radeon r9 270x so bad hardware isn't an issue). When I went to put it into fullscreen the same Chinese opengl error popped up. I used to play on my old laptop (and I still can) but I would like to be able to play on my PC.

Heres an fix if you haven't already:

go to atributes of gd.
go to compatibility
Change the compatibility to windows 8.

i found it when i googled opengl error chinese
