Audio Crackling

The Audio crackles while playing the menu music, official levels, sounds, custom songs, EVERYTHING! I really needed help with this ,because I've been 7 months now without being able to play the game. And yes I already reinstalled the game. I really need your help

Just looked into it. someone in the GD forums website gave someone this advice and the person with the issue said it works. Sounds a lot like the same audio problem you're having as well.

"Here's one thing I did when I had a similar problem.
This sounds stupid, but it worked. Change GD out of fullscreen to a different resolution. No idea why, but this worked for me. My problem was different though, but the conditions were similar, so I suggest trying this."

If this doesn't work, the way I fixed it was to change the compatibility mode to Windows 95 then back to Windows 8 and it got fixed.
