Please Help, Game wont open

When i try and open geometry dash it says running for few seconds then stops as seen in this video: crash example

I've tried many different methods like
1.restarting my pc
2.verifying game integrity
3. running in compatibility mode
4. opening appdata and moving/removing files
5. uninstalling and reinstalling
6. uninstalling monitor in device manager
7.deleting all custom songs

same and I'm over here thinking it was 2.2 but since it hasn't come out in 4 years basically I'm guessing something is wrong with the servers

I FIXED IT!!!!!!

1. Open "run" by holding down the "windows" and "r" keys
2. type in "%appdata% in the chatbox
3. go back from "roaming" and go to "Local"
4. Find "geometry dash" and delete ccgamemanager.dat and cclocallevels.dat from there.
5. Pressing play should work now

Maybe try to delete and then redownload your GPU drivers? For me it has worked for many games but I don't really know if it will help.

Sadly a lot of us are having the same problem. I and others have also made posts on this matter. I hope Robtop does something about this.

Your CCGame files are most likely corrupted. The solution is easy however, so follow these steps.
Step 1: Go to the search bar at the bottom left of your computer (not a web browser) and search exactly "%appdata%" (minus the quotes).
Step 2: Switch the folder to the AppData section (it'll leave you on roaming at first), and press on the "Local" folder.
Step 3: Open the Geometry Dash folder.
Step 4: Scroll all the way to the bottom of the folder and you should see 2-4 CC folders.
Step 5: Move them out of the GD appdata folder and move them to a safe place (preferably a brand new folder).

Now try opening GD and there you go! It worked for me so I'm sorry if it does not work. (DISCLAIMER: This could unlink your GD account from the game, so simply link it again, but it will set you back to the last time you saved your data, so if you never saved I'm sorry but restarted GD is better than no GD)

i dont think he will. ive had this problem for years. been posting about it for years. happened to me multiple times through the years. your files get corrupted and theres nothing you can do
