There is a possibility that today, or even in the next few days, 2.2 will be released. Since the servers have been down for quite a while and the sneanky peeky has been released three days ago.

I hope that RobTop has learnt that he shouldn't continue adding things to 2.2, because (as he mentioned in Colon's video) the only reason why it's taken so long is because each time he added something, expectations got higher, hence him adding more. It's a terrible cycle.

He also said that after 2.2 there will be 2.3 where he will add more stuff than 2.2

2.2 could probably be released in a few months or even early 2022, the 2.1 sneak peek was posted 9 months before the actual release

Just because the 2.1 update dropped 1 year after the sneak peak doesn't mean it will release in 2022.
The 2.0 sneak peak came out on april 9th 2015 while the update released 4 months later.
This mean we could get 2.2 in the next few months since i doubt that RobTop would delay it, i mean we have been waiting for the past 4 years

2.2 isn't coming soon. What's been happening is a DDOS attack. Someone has decided to lag the servers, breaking tons of things and ruining everything.

The server issues have been a direct result of a DDOS (a hacking attack on the servers) if anything this would delay 2.2 as robtop has to go through the hustle of fixing the servers, also, 2.2 aint coming in a matter of weeks, hate to break the news to you, many bugs need to be fixed, icons need to be drawn, and other stuff, we could hope it comes out this year however my guess is sometime mid/late 2022

He's still working on the update since the past seven days when the 2.2 Sneaky Peeky was released. You can't really expect 2.2 to release in just a couple of days, not how it works bro (Robert Topala has been taking years and releasing videos about it's features over the months of those years and overall he will probably release it in somewhere around 2022.).
