help i cant open gd (solved)

so when i try to open gd steam says "preparing to open geometry dash" but then it closes and then the game never opens, ive tried verifying integrity use backup files uninstall and reinstall. but it never works, can anybody help? (edit: the way that worked for me was factory resetting my device but i dont think you guys would want to go that length)

This Seems to be happening to almost everyone.
I also opened the game just 1 hour ago and now it won't open.

i have the same problem... reinstalling steam and factory resetting laptop didnt work too... big picture, verifying, reinstalling etc. didnt work too... the only thing that worked for me in past was to downgrade windows to older version but that doesnt work now... i really want to fix it but idk how :(

bro i got this same issue and i'm getting the feeling that a lot of people have this issue too so i think either a steam update broke it somehow or it's on robtop and he needed to shut down the entire game to do something...
