Gradual Input Delay Bug
Does anyone else know how to fix this issue in GD: Input Delay bug. When playing any level in the game, there is input delay that just starts getting gradually worse and worse the more I play, to the point the game is not very playable. It's worse on online levels, only slightly delayed in copyables. I have tried next to anything, and I cannot find any answers. It's not my mouse, because it happens with all control methods. It's not my PC, as it doesn't have this issue with other games. turning off vsync doesn't help.

V sync incrasess input delay.
You can read this on internet.

no it doesnt lmao
having vsync off increases input lag because it causes the game to run at a lower framerate

v sync doesnt increase input delay, but having it off makes there less delay, but screen tearing will happen. but that still doesn't fix the issue im having which is a random increase in delay while im in a level

When You trurn on v-sync, it incrasess delay to:

60 hz - 16,(6) ms
75 hz - 13,(3) ms
120 hz - 8,(3) ms
144 hz - 6,9(4) ms
165 hz - 6,(06) ms
240 hz - 4,1(6) ms

When You have 60 hz monitor, better turn off v-sync. There will be much lower delay.

Is that why l4d2 seemed much faster for me when I first played it on my current gaming laptop with IPS display compared to my old potato laptop with crap LCD?
