Jump Pads Don't Trigger

Sometimes the jump pad I place down just don't work for whatever reason. It's supposed to lead to a drop, in which the purple pad (broken) jumps the player into two gravity switch portals then a red pad. However, when my icon moves on it, it doesn't work? Please help.

I don’t have a answer but I have the same problem I finished a pretty good level but can’t upload it because there is one jump pad that Wont work
