Geometry Dash Screen Tearing
So lately I have been noticing a bit of screen tearing while I play this game. I looked up guides but none of the fixes worked for me. If you are having this problem, here is the way I fixed it.

What My Problem Was
While playing levels I would experience screen tearing quite badly. On some occasions it made the game unplayable with the amount of tearing I was experiencing. I looked up countless guides and forum posts of people who fixed it by changing settings in the Nvidia control panel, switching to integrated graphics, etc.

How I Fixed It
I fixed my issue by capping the framerate. I know that might sound a little weird to some of you but running it at too high of a framerate can cause tearing and other issues.

Refresh Rate

First, you have to find the refresh rate of your monitor. Some of you may already know this so you can skip this step. If you know what model monitor you have you can just look up the refresh rate of it. If you don't have a clue what i'm talking about, you can follow these steps:

1. Right click on your desktop and click "intel graphics settings"
(If you don't have an intel amd has one too)

2. Click on display and it should show your refresh rate right there

Limiting FPS

If you just want to limit your fps for Geometry Dash, there are just a couple steps.
(This will not limit your fps for every game or program, it just limits it for GD)

1. Go to your Steam library and right click on Geometry Dash

2. Click on properties

3. Click on set launch options

4. In the box that appears, type in --set /Config/CONFIG/maxFpsValue 60
(Your refresh rate is basically your fps limit. Even though you might be able to achieve higher frames, it won't be noticeable past your refresh rate.)

5. Before you click OK, if your refresh rate is higher than 60, change the 60 to whatever you want in between 60 and your refresh rate.

That's It!
I would suggest restarting your computer as well but now you're done. Hopefully this will fix your GD so you can beat that level you're stuck on! Remember this worked for me and it may not work for you, but I just wanted to get this out there!

Just a question, How do you stop screen tearing when using FPS Bypass on Mega hack V7?

you cant, thats just how bypass is due to it not being native refresh rate

usually if you set the fps to a multiplication of your screen refresh rate (e.g 240fps on 60hz, 360fps on 90hz) it'll usually be fine
Also turn off v-sync if you haven't done that yet
