Backup Failed. Error Code: -5

Someone please help me. I have been playing for 2 years now and I changed my name from GDHexi to Chinex Hexi. But now, on PC i'm GDHexi and on iPad i'm Chinex Hexi. I can only save on iPad (maybe because it's my most recent name) and I can't save on PC. When I try to save on PC, it says "Backup Failed (Error code - 5) I will lose almost 6 months of playing if this doesnt fix itself, someone please help..

you need to keep trying... no oney really knows a fix for that. If youre on the same account on PC and iPad, you can save on iPad and load on PC. this should atleast temporarily fix your problem. Be carefull about yo data though, gone is gone in this game. I think RubRub should add a Cloud backup thingy so you can backup (should auto backup every 5 or 10mins when playing) your data in the cloudservice you use to make it possible to load load that backup if you lost data.

Hiya all, I recently had this issue too.

As long as you click refresh login on the account you want to backup save on it will keep all your stars, it may seem like it wont but it will. This issue only seems to occur when you change your GD name.

I think its just bcs if u change ur account name and it doesnt update it then it does the error but refresh login fixes that. I had the same problem and it worked
