GD World isn't a demo. The reason everyone's (new players who haven't loaded their saves yet) are stuck as free players is because there is an exploit floating around allowing others to upgrade into the full version of the game, without actually owning the full version of Geometry Dash.
Also, the slight off chance that NOBODY IS SUPPOSED TO SEE THE 2.1 CONTENT YET. (Well, the editor stuff, that is)
The exploit ironically works like this:
1. Create user in GD Lite
2. Cloud save
3. Sync that save into GD World
4. Vollia, you're a full-version user now!
Also, in GD World, the "Cloud sync unsuccessful" is intentional. Basically, cloud syncing is disabled in GD World.
Edit: Aaaand in Meltdown and Lite too.
Edit: Just open lite, but did anyone notice the 2.1 stuff in the character customiser?
