I recently had this problem as well on which I could not save my data and was repeatedly given the notification that Geometry Dash would not save along with an error code of -5. I had changed my username recently from the account management page and had not saved my data beforehand. To fix this problem, you must unlink your account from Geometry Dash and log in using your new username. This might mean that you will lose some stars and coins. After logging back in, check if your stars and data is relatively close to what it previously was (it shouldn't change much) and then try to save your account. This is what worked for me.

If you do a "refresh login" you will be able to save again

You've been trolled man... you just needed to refresh login and that's it, but unfortunately for you, your account is now deleted.

just re install the game if it happens it happend to me once but the next it worked but idk what is error code -5
