Why do people like this game?
I just finished uninstalling this piece of ♥♥♥♥ 5 minutes ago, and was about to move on when I decided to make this. What I want to know is, what is it about this game that people actually find enjoyable? Speaking personally, I don't like that every time I go through the process of beating a demon that's rated anything above medium I wind up immensly frustrated. I wanted to be good at this game, I really did, but it seems like difficulty takes center stage over fun in this game. Before anyone mindlessly shouts "git gud" at me, I have beaten all the RobTop levels, so I have some experience with playing challenging levels. This isn't a post where I complain that the game is too hard because I got stuck on stereo madness.

"I have beaten all the RobTop levels, so I have some experience with playing challenging levels"

RobTop levels are not challenging at all. Deadlocked is too overated.

"This isn't a post where I complain the game is too hard"

yet you are still complaining over difficulty. If you can't beat anything above medium, then practice. Period.

On the contrary, RobTop levels introduce the player to demons, and are very hard for new players. For an example, the first level to take Pasiblitz more attempts than Clubstep to beat was Ice Carbon Diablo X, nearly 900 demons in. Also, part of the problem is that practice is in of itself frustrating. The reason I uninstalled instead of just gritting my teeth and fighting through it is because I was genuinely worried I was going to break my keyboard. Also, removing the rest of my sentence from the second quote to support your argument is not doing you any favors.

No, RobTop doesn't introduce demons to new players. You don't have to play demons. Don't forget, there's other difficulties ranging from auto to demons.

What does Pasiblitz have to do with anything? Keep in mind, attempts don't matter. My first demon was TOE 2, took me about 7k attempts. I kept practicing, working hard, most demons take less than 1k attempts. Pasiblitz probably spent a lot of time on Clubstep, because when he beat it he probably just started playing the game.

The reason you uninstalled because you can't control your anger. The game doesn't control your emotions. You do it yourself. If you get that angry over a game, then don't play it. Don't ♥♥♥♥♥ about it on the discussions about how you can't control your anger.

Also the rest of your sentences were the same thing. You ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over the difficulty, saying you are experienced with challenge levels because you beat clubstep, blah blah
When new players first see the coin locks, it makes them wonder what's inside, which likely leads to coin collecting, finding the demon, attempting it, you get the idea. Stumbling across the demon and attempting it out of curiostity is likely how most new players are introduced to demons. Also, you don't have to do anything difficult in this game if you don't like it, but the experience will get boring.

Pasiblitz's attempt counts are meant as an example of how the RobTop demons can be very difficult for new players, not to show how the attempt count of one guy is a statement of the difficulty of a level.

I actually really like being told to "git gud" because it proves that you had to resort to calling my skill into question to defend against my arguments, rather than form a counter to what I was saying. Suggestions about why I might be having this problem and what other people do to get enjoyment out this game were what I was hoping to find, but I'm not suprised. Thing is, I know I suck at this game, you're preaching to the choir.

This wasn't even worth responding to, and I expect to get a restatement of "git gud" in your next response, if you write one at all, because that's the only defense for deliberate frustration not being a good design choice that you have.

Just like you said, you don't have to do anything difficult in this game if you don't like it. Don't complain about the difficulty taking the fun away then. Easy as that.

Sure, it can be difficult for newcomers of course. That's why they work hard and practice to complete it, unlike you getting frustrated over the difficulty. Like you said, you don't have to do anything difficult in this game if you don't like it, if you're up to the point where you start worrying about breaking your keyboard, then don't play it.

"Thing is, I know I suck at this game"

"I have beaten all the RobTop levels, so I have some experience with playing challenging levels."

Can you just pick one and stick with it?

If it isn't worth responding, then don't respond. Don't play this game if you don't like it. You don't have to complain about it on the discussions.

PS: My argument isn't really about you being noob, and I don't really care about that, that was a way to make you triggered. What my argument is you are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about the demons being too hard, even when you said you don't have to do anything in this game if you don't like it. If you don't like hard demons, then don't play them, or practice easier demons to get better. Also, don't blame your anger on the game. You're in control of your own emotions, not the game. If hard demons make you mad to the point where you get worried about breaking your keyboard, don't play it. Also you don't have to complain about it on the discussions.

everyone has different tastes, if you dont like it doesnt mean others dont too
You remind me of Leafy. You find one thing about what I say and repeat the same criticism of it over and over again as if it'll somehow be more valid the more you say it. Tell me what you personally do to enjoy this game, like the discussion was supposed to be about, or ♥♥♥♥ off and find other people whose subjective opinions you can say are objectively wrong please.

I'm repeating my statements because you keep thinking that my only points are calling you noob, even though that was barely any part of my argument. Also, I never said I enjoyed this game, the discussion was about YOU complaining about the difficulty taking all the fun away from this game.

Clearly you can't read. My problem isn't about your opinion. To be honest, I don't even care about that. People like different types of games. I'm not gonna repeat the same thing over, since you don't like it. Read my previous statements. Soon you'll get it.

If you want me to ♥♥♥♥ off, then stop arguing back. I personally don't care. If you wish to end it, stop with the comments and let this discussion die. If you choose to argue back, don't be a ♥♥♥♥♥ and keep making useless points instead of actually debunking my points.
