What does it mean when somebody asks somebody to "verify" a level for them?

In order to post a level, it has to be completed first to prove it is possible, and sometimes people want it to be completed by someone else.

But somebody ELSE verifies the level. I know what verifying is.

Basically, somebody builds a level then sends it to a different person. This different person will complete the level and upload it under their account, so the different person is the verifier.

so, if X made level and Y verified, X can't use something to upload it under their name? Is it necessarily on Y's account?

X would probably take the same copy Y has and then use hacks, like noclip, to be able to upload the level
