Question about dual ships

Is it just my immaginations, or do ships get pulled down faster when they are in dual mode? I get to a part in a level where a single ship goes to double and i always die by getting pulled down even as i click the same speed.

Is it just me or do they behave differently?

I think they do. When I was doing a test controlling 1 ship at a time, I noticed that I was getting dragged down a lot. People say that may be the case with reverse gravity too, but I never noticed anything different about that.

They do behave differently. I once did a test where I put down a grid made of 3d lines and and tested normal ship vs dual ship. I then put blocks as far left as I could without making the/a ship crash. The block after the dual portal was much further left than the one before the dual portal. So it's not your imagination.
