The Purple Key (What it is used for) [SPOILER ALERT]

Hey all! So, from 2.1, most of you have been making theories and everything, but I really know the solution. The solution is actually, pretty simple...! So, it is actually used for the Demon Gauntlet. I am thinking this because you can't access the demon gauntlet without unlocking the demon guardian. I have already done this, but if you don't, it will say something like this. "Sorry, that gauntlet is locked. The demon guardian was the only one to be able to unlock it" so if you have that or something similar, you can guess straight off the bat that you need dat purple key.
