I installed Disney's Princess Enchanted Journey on Steam but when I click on the start game button nothing happens.

Same problem here on Win 8.1 - all updates and latest drivers (chipset, graphics, ...) - everything up to date and a hardly new installation - all works only this not ... where do we get help?

I've finally succeeded in getting it to run under Windows 7 ultimate on my gaming rig, but not on any of my other computers. I don't know what I did as I didn't update or change any hardware in my system at all, it just suddenly opened the Disney registration screen where I had to enter the key it showed me when starting. However I can't run it on any of my other computers, nor the ones at my parents home. To me this looks like it is either a DRM problem or a Direct-X problem but I don't have any error information to show. I have updated all of the other systems to the latest drivers and they run a combination of Windows XP SP3 and Windows 7 Professional SP1 with varying hardware. Disney was very kind in trying to help me to fix this but they gave up in the end and asked me to ask Steam for a refund. Disney asked me to make sure that all of my hardware was Direct-X 9.0c conformant and had passed the Microsoft tests. Please report any success here, I'll check back as I want to run it on my other computer.

Ok, Steam. My game doesn't run either, Windows 8.1 and things, can't even set compatibility mode for PLAY.EXE. My baby girl's sad, I'm disappointed, what should we do? Thank you.

Ok. fixed it. Here is how I did. First rightclick on the game in steam. Select languages and use English. Then a promt for game-key comes. Insert the game-key and run the game. After it is in the main menu in-game... Quit the game. Right-click the game in steam and select ur prefered language. I chose Norwegian and it worked. Guess one little girl is gonna be happy tomorrow :-)
