I would get the game then asap.
That's literally all the code they need! /s
Maybe the will read this and I get any answer if it will come at some time or not ^^
I played Age of Wonder 2 a while back in which I converted many Cities suits to my needs.
exactly...why do you need that??? go play homm6.
It ought to be a major financial hit at least.
I have the feeling that there was a concerted effort in the development of H7 to go as far away from H6 as they could given all the disappointments surrounding that game.
Town conversion (too cheap and easy), Tears/Blood (not nearly developed enough), Sanctuary faction, Dynasty Traits, Dynasty Weapons were all at least pretty good ideas that got lost as a result. Having said that, I think the only one of the H6 innovations that has any kind of chance to return is the Sanctuary faction.
City conversion was super OP. It removed all diversity of forces from a game and allowed ridiculous levels of power concentration into single heroes.
I play thate game, yes :)
For me its just a personal thing. I don´t like multi faction at all. When I play demons, I want to conquer the world with a demon army!
And just consider it... you start as lets say a demon and then have elves on your side fighting and conquering their own realm... uhm yes, sure...
I get it, Heroes 7 will not have the feature, so thats bad luck for me.
At least they could have made it as an optional thing. Everyone could decide for himself to use or not to use it.
So for the hardliners: What disadvantages would you have, when someone can put that optional thing on and play campaign that way and enjoys it while you can just let it disabled and have your optimal gameplay?
That´s the reason for optional settings. Play like you want and let others play their way.
so this is the other way to look at it...you can play other factions you take over or just guard with them...i dont understand what you mean....do you need more troops in your army??? i dont get why that is even needed, unless you need to slaughter every senario, etc.
I stick with my opinion. It should have been optional. So everyone could have the gameplay like he/she wants it. You want to play your campaign with multi faction and enjoy having dozens of different units? Then do it, have fun with it, enjoy the game and be happy.
But why not let people like me have the same fun? As long as no one will force you to play "my way", why do you want to force me to playa "your way"?
They could for sure have done that as an optional feature.
But I hated that all the time. Those mixed armies... args.... and then you can´t reinforce them with own troops etc.
I remember one Heroes, I think it was 5, there I started to play a demon campaign. From story it was like "demons invade elven realm". Then all I could get was elven cities. And I sat there and thought "WTF? I am demon, I invade you, but now I play elves and use elven troops to kill your elves? Aha... yeah.. could as well have started the elven campaign then.."
Know what I mean?
i understand what you are saying but homm7 dosent force you too mix troops at all...sometimes you might want to add shooters to get you by for a moment but really...i beat every campaign with that faction....except for ivan...he sucks...lol
