This game is so unbalanced
Sorry for the rant but I must somehow express my frustration

I must be honest, I didn't play the game much before, and it took me until the end of the add-on campaign to realize how unbalanced the game is. The combination of "Perfect Defense" and ultimate Fire Magic on the last makes it so difficult to overcome, especially on my main hero who is very unsuitable for real combat at the first place.

Whoever come up with the idea of "Perfect Defense" must be some kind of maniac who enjoy torturing. That skill makes Champion creatures hit like wet noodle against even the weakest of enemy creatures, and makes attack skill build up on heroes totally useless.

pefect defense ist only useful if the enemys attack in higher than the target unit's defense, that is not always the case, also it doesnt make attack skill build useless for this reason, it is a solid skill but also a GM skill, while she skill is quite powerful is some situation, the vanilla game has other more severe balance issues, also u may not forget that, usually only might heroes have acces to perfect offense/defense which already have a good amount of defense/attack naturally, the point where the skill becomes OP is when a magic hero can learn it

The last boss in the add-on Campaign is just that. She just screw my creature attack with that skill while bombarding them with magic, and I cant do anything to stop that, magic resistance is none-existence. Even Champion like Sword Master couldnt hurt the low tier like Shieldguard while taking tremendous casualty each turn.

And of top of that, the main hero that I have to use to fight her isn't a combat hero but more like a campaign/support hero

ah, the good old camapings, i didnt play all maps, as i usually get bored, because most give u no challenge, if the addon maps are more difficult, that is a good thing tough, pure magic heroes should not have peferct defense though, maybe hybrid ones it is ok... however campaings are custom maps, so everything is possible for pre-definied heroes based on the maps maker choice

The difficulty of some boss in the addon were quite shocking for me as I beat most of the base game campaigns, especially the Ivan's campaign with ease. But at least in the Dwarf campaign, my main heroes are quite good at combat unlike poor Ivan who is totally outclassed by a cheese build.

Wonder if they fixed the implosion where you could crit on it and one shot any size stack ;DD
