Where to start
Lacking an actual tutorial or any indicator that I can find, is there a Factions I should start first? My first temptation is the Necro campaign, but dont really know and my free time is precious to me so dont really wanted to start with the easiest group.

Many believe that the Haven Campaign is the easiest campaign. But some of the skirmishes and stand-alone scenarios might be easier because less constrained. If you are a beginner, I recommend the skirmish "Bad neighbors".

lol do not start with the necro campaign. You'll be completely lost. Start with Haven or Orcs.

Thanks for the help guys

not putting in a tutorial was a huge mistake. it basically ensures that they will get almost no new players to the series

thinking more and more about it, and going over everything more and more, it's almost like somebody at ubi or wherever actually wants to kill the series.

They made two youtube videos which are a tutorial and if you play certain campaigns it also guides you across the game's mechanics.

You're wrong. Enjoy it.

A youtube video that is not referenced in game is not a tutorial.

YOU'RE wrong. As a new player coming to the series, I was lost when I started the campaign and more than a little annoyed that there was no tutorial offering. 99% of games come with a tutorial these days, there is no reason why this should had been left out. ESPECIALLY when I believe, and correct me if I'm wrong, Might and Magic VI included one.

Or don't and just forever a whiny ♥♥♥♥♥ on Steam. It's your choice.

However, I do appreciate the videos, so thanks for those anyway.

I found the advice to play the Solo Scenario very helpful, of course I got so into it I lost a whole day playing it. Way better than having to passively watch a video instead of doing the tutorial interactively, might as well telll some one to read the manual if you cannot point to anything better than a video. The video will help but its better to have a Tutorial IN game where it belongs.
