Murael Campaign 2nd scenario need help

In the second scenario of this campaign, hpw do you stop Gloria fromcrossing into Brightsgate and how do you assign Ymaril as governor?

be careful,you maybe have to start anew.do the quests in right order, I only assigned her govenour(because I didnt know earlier how to) after I met the wizards and had the artifact your gonna need.this is messing up everything.
I advise:
put her govenour/get the mines and then the 2forts and then take her army before you cross through the border, everything from there should ne no problem or very linear.
once your stuck down there and cant press the infernalthing(press leftalt if it shows red or not) if it doesnt then you cant click it-->your stuck.
usually the sidequest say then explore the plain field...which is bad,if you do the quests in order you get specific questinstructions instead.

Here is a solution I already posted several times because this seems to be a common problem. Seems to work.

To complete the map you must complete the quests in this order:

1. Make Ymoril governor (by dragging her picture to the governor slot in the city screen)
2. Meet with her and let her give you all her troops
3. Explore the part of the map south of the magicians castle
4. Explore the underground and find the fire gate
5. Talk to the magician

If you explore the last part of the map before you take the troops from Ymoril, the explore-quest can't be completed and you will be trapped behind the fire gate at the end of the game (no enemy appears before the trapped fire element).
