Might & Magic Heroes 7 is launching normally for me. The game has not been updated recently, so that is not the issue, so I would think you may have an outdated version of Connect.
Ok, thats your problem.
Uplay is the old launcher, its not in use anymore.
Uninstall Uplay.
Download Ubisoft Connect from the Ubisoft website.
Launch Connect and log into Connect with your Ubisoft ID. After that you should see Heroes 7 in your games list.
You can then launch Heroes 7 from Steam or Connect.
That is an internal Windows error, I do not believe it has anything to do with the game.
In simple term, the Kernel32.dll errors are caused by a conflict between one or more programs trying to access the memory protected area occupied by kernel32.dll. This error can be caused by a specific program, multiple files or programs. The reasons for the error are various. Here are some of the causes of the error, but not all.
Windows temporary files are damaged
Loaded corrupted or incorrect version of the kernel32.dll file
The registry file is damaged
Computer hardware problem (CPU overheating, overlocking .etc)
Corrupted hardware drivers
The driver is not installed correctly
Your device has infected with a virus
Insufficient disk space
yes that's true. there is a Reddit post (https://www.reddit.com/r/windows7/comments/13uqklx/ubisoft_connect_uplay_upcexe_entry_point/) that talks about this and also provides explanations on how to bypass the issues with installing an older version of the launcher (which I checked with VirusTotal and confirmed it's legitimate and not a virus or trojan - which you should always do before running does). then you need to make some modifications to a folder and a version.txt file in the launcher folder and it works until the next time they will update the launcher - works fine for me - current ubisoft connect version is 10894
From this i take it that it is no longer playable period and has been discontinued?
Hi,
I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue.
Could you take a look at the PC troubleshooting in the link below and go through any of the steps you may not have tried, then try again:
https://ubi.li/x17TX
However, if the issue persists I would recommend trying each of the following:
- Ensure your game is running on a dedicated GPU rather than an integrated GPU - https://ubi.li/q0hCX
- Clear Ubisoft Connect cache - https://ubi.li/uNKwr
- Add the game to the white list of your anti virus software
- Launch the game in Windows compatibility mode if you are using Windows 11 - https://ubi.li/h0VCZ
- Perform a SFC scan - https://ubi.li/gCxN0 (Win 10 & Below) https://ubi.li/OYBuj (Windows 10 & 11)
- Unplug non-essential peripherals (extra monitors, controllers, VR equipment, etc.)
- Reinstall the support software - https://ubi.li/s9Zj3
- Uninstall the game and Ubisoft Connect, then reinstall them on the same drive as your OS - https://ubi.li/cf8hs
