Generating a random map...
Typically, how long does it take for a colossal map to generate?

It's been over 20 minutes...

The game has RAM draining issues. If you're going to make a random map, try going for smaller ones unless you wait it out and it doesn't crash your computer in the process.

The game did crash...
On the next session, I disabled the "under ground" and selected a new "seed".

It worked! :steamhappy: (Seems a colossal map with an underground is too much...)

Played a "hot seat" session with another player.

It was a tough game... 00'

After winning some EPIC battles, we couldn't finish the game.

We were worried about the AI pink player...
We haven't seen the pink AI for most of the game.

Pink was trapped in it's own lands! 00

We couldn't find a way in...
I didn't come across a spell like "Dimension Door" or "Fly"
in this game like in Heroes III...

We abandoned that session, due to what appeared to be, an incomplete generated map...

because the rmg is buggy sometimes, it might block passages, you are better of playing regular maps or custom maps for download, there are some

Hey there Spaceminnow :)

Sorry to hear about these issues generating a custom random map. I really appreciate the community sharing insights into this as well. As you'll know, we're not actively developing the game on our end, so any fixes from us are unlikely, and any workarounds the community has discovered are great to have available.

That said, we'd always recommend running through our standard troubleshooting, as it has been shown to improve stability for many of our titles. You'll find it in the troubleshooting guide[ubi.li]. In particular from the guide, please make sure you are running the game with administrator rights, you've verified the game files, you've got your Windows install fully updated, and you've (at least temporarily, for testing) deactivated all background programs.
