Report a translation problem
I believe there is a chance that if you own a vanilla Uplay version of the game, but a Steam version of the Addon it might not play. However, if that is the case, it will work tomorrow when the Uplay version is activated.
If you're experiencing something completely different, like you only ever bought the game on Steam. I will need more info.
I own the pre order Homm VII version on Uplay. I was able to play it normally.
I just bought the DLC on Steam. When I start the DLC the Uplay pops up and ask for my activation key. Steam doesn't give me one.
I thought to refund the game on Steam and to buy in the Uplay shop. DLC is not available in the Uplay shop.
So I decided to buy the original Deluxe version on Steam. Now I have Steam Deluxe, Pre order Uplay Deluxe, the DLC and I can't play any of them anymore because they keep asking activation codes for both my games.
You ask me to contact support but I'm refered to the Dutch website of Ubisoft and support is horrible there and take 8 weeks at least.
Sorry but what can I do to play the game???? Can someone contact me by Steam? Can you provide Uplay keys for the Steam products I own and vice versa? I start crazy of this now.

Trial by Fire is a standalone addon, meaning you don't need the main game in order to play. Kind Regards

So how do I get this game to start without getting a error message that Uplay isn't working?
(And "right-click library and choose show cd-key is not the answer because i do not have any such alternative in the menu)

Bought the game this morning via Steam. Downloaded it and tried to start it.
Then it starts Uplay and Uplay demands a CD-key.
I haven't been provided a CD-key!
I have the addon " Might & Magic Heroes VII - Deluxe - Uplay Activation (WW) (DLC)
I've tried all supplied suggestions of fixing the problem.
I have:
Verified game cache.
Restarted PC and Steam.
Tried to right-click the game and click "CD-key..." but there is no such option.
Redownloaded and reinstalled entire game.
Download latest version of Uplay from uplay website.
But it still pops up and asks for my CD-key.
Only solution still left is a C: format :P
Mailed the customer service now though and hopefully they can help.
