Game dont start - shows "Uplay error"

When i try to start the game (first time afte ri bought it!), it ran the directx etc and after all finished, the error occurs:

"Unable to start the game
Unable to locate Uplay PC.
Please reinstall Uplay PC."

So, what is "UPlay PC" I have a normal Computer and i thougt, Steam installs, what is neccessary to run the game, when i bought it here on steam?

So how i can play the game?

Weird - when instaling other Heroes Vesions, steam installed the uplay software alone, but not for heroes 7.
I tried Installing Heroes 6 and it installed uplay, that also worked for heroes 7,.
So its a Steam-Installation bug, it seems, but thanks

Yes, because i installed Heroes 6, that installed uplay, which works with Heroes 7

Why isn't this on the game page on Steam? "Doesn't work without you having to go to a 3rd party site and install on your own. Doesn't work out of the box."

No, that shows only the problems by STEAM and Ubi working together. A Game needs additional Software, Ubi dont tell Steam and therefore Steam dont put it in the install routine.
Or They told Steeam and Steam didnt do it.

Ubi was once okay, before they joined the "getalltheplayermoney"-System where you must pay a lot of money to get progress in your lifetime like most online games...

Why did i buy this on Steam? Yes i didnt want to run Ubi. Now i have to install Ubi? This is illegal. There is no hint about this fact!

@UbiMoshi: I hope that UPlay is needed to play and will be installed automatically, you are not serious. It can't be that I buy a piece of software on Steam and the crap that I just threw down is reinstalled and then the whole thing still doesn't start.

Yes, they're serious. No, there's no way around it. You must install Uplay if you want to play the game. There is an offline mode though that shuts it off after installing it. However, if you play multiplayer online, you must have it on.

it is extremely annoying the ubisoft third party player. I must unnistall the game becouse i dont want regestry in ubisoft if y bought the game on steam

I totally unterstand and agree, BUT - it stantds always on the "system requirements"...

Ubisoft games require the Ubisoft client. Why is this so hard to understand. Yes, it sucks but there's nothing you can do about it. Doesn't really matter any more, I'll never buy another game from them again anyway.
