Any big difference between the PC and the Android version?

I'm not usually complaining about games prices, and this is a solid purchase at $20 for a lot of people. I already own the boxed + GoG versions, and now I'm tempted to buy the EE.

Thing is, it's $10 on Android (iOS coming soon) and TWICE the price here on Steam. Any reason for the extra price? Steam takes a big cut but so do Google and Apple, so I'm wondering if there's anything special in the PC version.

I've got a nVidia Shield Tablet so technically if I buy the Steam version, I'll be able to play it on my tablet. And the mobile version can be easily played on a TV/Monitor since the Shield has HDMI out, so I'm really not sure which version to get.

I believe they are the same. I do not own the Android version of this game, but I have BGEE on both PC and Android, and they are the same except for the 3 new NPCs (which are not present in Android UNLESS you continue a save from PC).

I'll probably buy IWDEE for Android later so I can continue playing while travelling. BTsync makes it easy to keep the saves syncronized.

I have no idea if the Android version is moddable. And playing without at least BG2Tweaks installed is unthinkable, at least for me.

The dev team has mentioned that the reason for the Android price difference is that there's not a market for a $20 app.

I would steer clear of the mobile versions TBH. I originally bought BG:EE for my IPAD and I was really disappointed in it. Not only was it a lot harder to control but there were a lot of graphics/optimization problems compared to the PC version. On the Ipad 3 the game would slow down to a crawl any time there were many spell effects going on. If something like Stinking Cloud or Ice Storm were going off, you woudl go down to ~10 FPS.

On the PC, however, the game was more than worth it for me!
