Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition

Need access to cheat codes.
I can not find out how to activate cheat codes.

These require that you sould edit an icewind.ini .
Could have used the teleport to save me the endless walking.
Or the money to compensate for gladly overlooked loot.

If anybody knows of a workaround, help would be met with many thanks (!).

Go to Documents\Icewind Dale - Enhanced Edition
Open baldur.ini in a decent text editer. I recommend Notepad++
Add the following lines after the line that says "INSERT INTO options ROWS (":
'Program Options', 'Debug', '1', 'Program Options', 'Debug Mode', '1',
Once in game: CTRL+Spacebar should open the console.
All the old codes you can find online work, but replace "CHEATERSDOPROSPER:" or "GETYOURCHEATON:" with just "C:"

Sounds more like you want Diablo and not Icewind Dale
Thanks, that worked great.

Many thanks to you good sir !

An old game without its cheat codes isn't itself. thanks.
An RPG *with* cheat codes is pointless.

And an RPG without cheat codes is also unheard of :)

why bother playing if you just cheat? Why not just write down on a piece of paper the words "I win 4evar!!!!" and save yourself the money?
Gotta love the silly people who thinks cheatcodes are exclusively to people who want a easy way on the game.

Dont you guys ever felt the urge to explore the game's mechanic? see what happens when you use diferent combinations of unobtainable spells?

Or how about using the teleport cheat to find hidden stuff in the game?

And lets not forget the use of cheat codes to bypass bugs that might appear.

You can also use cheats to make the game harder on yourself, by lowering the default stat points and such.

Dear god people, stop using the console mentality that CheatCodes = Bad.

If you use that logic, Mods would also be bad, because some of them make the game ungodly easy.

Personal player customization is what makes PC gaming, control should be given to the player, not what the gamer "community" finds acceptable or not.

"If you use that logic, Mods would also be bad, because some of them make the game ungodly easy." So, by your "logic"1+1 equals entropy
Any news on "Dale keeper EE" ?
Do a search as I understand there is an updated version (mentioned somewhere else recently)

EEKeeper works great! Outfitted my party the way I wanted them to be.
Cheaters never win (for real anyway) and winners never cheat. At least try playing the game through once before making your party all have +5000 gear and a million HP each.

Also: Winners don't do drugs. Otherwise they get an * next to their name.

What was the point of that statement? i was clearly making making fun of that.

My point is, customization (specially in single player games) should be left to the player.
