Couldn't you once ask Marketh to give you all the belongings he has on his person? I tried charisma from 8 to 20 and I can't seem to get this choice anymore.

Is it Marketh that tortured the gnomes or Malavon? Cause if its Marketh I can't help her out by sparing him for that drow girl

If i remember correctly you need high intelligence to ask him for his belongings, not charisma.

And yes, Marketh is the one torturing the gnomes.

I kept approaching him with my mage, which worked fine in the old IWD. Every time I try that it still targets my Paladin as the leader, even if I move him to the bottom as well. So I just boosted my paladins' intelligence for the conversation. Worked great.

I get why the drow wants him to live, from her view point. But did she knows he was cutting out little girl's tongues? If I could go back I would kill him. Next play through. He's no saint, tried to get me to put on a cursed ring.
