Stuck at Gear door in Vale of Shadows Crypt

Hello, I reached Vale of Shadows and gradually killed all the inhabitants and disarmed all traps and looted all there was in every single crypt then returned to Arundel. Arundel won't acknowledge that I spoke to and killed the undead in the crypts. Could this be a bug due to memory leaks? I've spent quite a bit of time researching the crypts to see if i missed anything and it looks like I left no stone unturned. Right now I'm at the door with the gears - there is indication that there could be a switch to open it but I can't find it. This is getting REALLY TEDIOUS.

Hi,

Did you unlock all of the gates you encountered in the crypts?
Did you talk to Kresselack?

There's a switch in the middle of the room that door is in. Hit tab to highlight clickable objects.
