Downsides to sleeping in a dungeon?
Are there any? I know you can be ambushed by monsters, but you can just quicksave before and load until you don't get ambushed.

I find that I sometimes get cockroaches in my ears, and sometimes I get bats pooing me! Sleeping on the cold stone of course can give you piles as well, which isn't pleasant. And certain nematodes can infest you if you don't place something between you and the soil as well.

Otherwise there is nothing else apart from what you mentioned! Some places you can't sleep, and sometimes the chance of monsters waking you is very high!

Just encounters. If you dont have a cleric its more beneficial to sleep at an inn because the higher tier rooms give better hp recovery.

I forgot I made this thread the other day >.>
Thanks guys! I do have a Cleric and I put the "Auto cast healing spells on rest" on, so besides encounters I wasn't sure if there was a downside or not.
Yeah, it does save more time if you have healers to just sleep in the dungeon (or always), but,... if you are low on health and it could be dangerous.. maybe just head to the inn if it isn't too hard.

Couldn't I just quicksave though, and then if I get ambushed just press L?
I can useally get it within 3-4 reloads, but I'm only at the Dragon's place thing. With the psycho priests.

Yeah I will do that if I loose a character in the fight... Someone said something about casting mass invisibility prior to resting will prevent monsters getting you on rest. But I haven't tried that out as yet!
