How to Enable Cheats

I don't know if you guys are familiar with the one part in Icewind Dale in the snakeman caves, but the battle is stupidly unfair. Anyway, because of this battle I cannot progress and so I'm hoping to enable cheats so I can finally move on. But I cannot. How do I do it? I have Notepad++ and I have tried putting in the lines but it is just not working. Is there some new patch that changes it?

(Also, if there are any cheat haters out there, just try to defeat this stupid part. I have tried many, many times and those guys completely annihilate me every single time and I don't stand a chance. I've tried every combination of spells and positions for my characters but they die every time)

Download EE keeper. It works for all of the EE games. You can give your characters any item/weapons, adjust their stats, give them skills, up their resist vs anything ETC.

Ah Yuxonemei. She's a bear to defeat. It actually took me years the first time because I got to her and gave up. Then when I returned years later I just fought her once a day until I defeated her. I recommend retreating to the smaller rooms north and west of her room. I have one person talk to her and leave others to try to kill the snake summoners that appear. She uses poison cloud which hurts most of her people. If you have someone who can cast an area damage spell it helps with all the mobs. She needs to be hit with enchanted weapons to be hurt (arrows count if they are enchanted). This is my advice as I don't know any cheat codes.

I do not have a folder in my users documents folder. I do not have any folders there, at all. That is an empty directory. Where do I find this baldur.lua file?

Type that file name into your computers’ file search. Don’t need to know where it’s at if you know what it’s called ;)
